April 24:  The students arrived on time having had a great trip over. All were a little tired. They were met by their home families and taken directly home with the advice to stay up until at least 9pm.

April 25:  No activities were planned for today. Most of the students slept in and did individual things with their families. A few got to the shopping center and most checked to see where the others were staying.

April 26:  We had no activities planned but students were recovered enough so that they took trips on the train to Perth and to points of interest around where they were staying

April 27:  We had our family picnic at Whiteman Park. It looked like rain, but the rain held off all day. All of the students came with their families, and in addition, several of the teachers came. CMU provided the meat for the "sausage sizzle", and one of the host dads did the grill work. We got acquainted with the families, and the students were happy to be together again. Most of the students went to the Wildlife Park to see the native animals.
