Important Dates for Fall 2008 Student Teachers

Application Meetings	Wednesday, January 9 @ 10:30 AM OR Thursday, January 10 @ 1:30 PM (you only need to attend one meeting) ***There will be a make-up meeting on Friday, Jan 11 at 1:30 pm in Ronan 304	Auditorium, University Center
Applications Due	Week of January 21-24, 2008 (Applications will be accepted on Monday, January 21 from 10:00 am-4:30 pm and the rest of the week from 8:30 am-4:30 pm) Departmental approvals are also due by this date in the departments.	Ronan 308
Coordinator/Area Assignments You will sign up for an interview with your assigned coordinator when you pick up your letter (this is not your school assignment)	Thursday ONLY! January 31, 2008 8:30-4:30. You must pick up this letter; it is not mailed!	Ronan 308
Interview Week	Monday - Thursday, February 3-7, 2008	Various locations (see Centers page)
Registration During Phase 1	Students planning on completing their regular education student teaching in Fall 2008 should register in section 22046038 for EDU 432 and in 22046083 for EDU 458. Regular education students should register for 10 credits of EDU 458 and students pursuing a special education endorsement should register for 6 credits of EDU 458.
Placement Meetings	Friday, April 11, 2008 @ 4:00	Various locations (see Centers page)
Visitation Date Deadline	As approved by your University Coordinator	Your placement school
Cycle II Deadline (this includes posting your resume with Career Services)	Friday, April 25, 2008	Career Services (UC 215)

You will need to download the EDU 458 Course Pack from this website prior to the Application meeting. Please bring the entire course pack with you to the meeting. You may also purchase the course pack from the IMC in Ronan 109 for 1.25.
